Law of Attraction: How you can Learn to Live a Peaceful Life

A Peaceful Life

A peaceful life is due to a life well lived. We create our lives through out thoughts and what we choose to do. These things cause us to be happy or unhappy. If we are unhappy it is due to our own thoughts and actions, no one else is responsible.

Our peacefulness is also due to how we decide to respond to outward circumstances. What we choose to do is caused by our own thoughts and not due to the outer circumstances.

A peaceful life depends on us and us alone. It is about how we think and about how we act. We are what we think we and what we do. We make choices all the time. If we make these choices out of ignorance , stupidity, ego and even stubbornness, we can almost expect a less than peaceful life.

Change by Modifying your Life

We can modify our life by making changes in our thinking and in the actions we choose to take. These changes will also cause change to take place in our mentality. We can become happier, kinder, wiser, more peaceful people when we make the choice to.

We cannot blame others for our thoughts and actions, because they are ours, and ours alone. We are therefore responsible for own peacefulness. Responsible for our happiness and/or unhappiness.

If we live a life based on thoughts of anger, hate, revenge, selfishness, misery, etc, this is what we will attract.

Therefore if we want to live a peaceful life, we need to modify our thinking and our behavior. We train ourselves to have peaceful thoughts, we love more fully, we let go of the thoughts of revenge. This is how we choose an all around better existence.

Areas of Change

A More Peaceful Life

Are there areas in life that you feel you want to change? You can begin with little steps, it doesn’t have to be an all out change in the moment. Perhaps you can begin with a small thing, like creating a new habit. Perhaps making a plan for yourself. Anything that will get you moving in the right direction.

An example from my own life occurred when I decided to stop watching the news or even listening to it. Most of the time it was disturbing in so many ways, and sometimes kept me awake at night. I, therefore, decided to change this habit. This has had a huge impact on how I see life. I am much more positive than I was before, and therefore, much happier.

I don’t live alone and my friend never misses the news, at lunch time and again during dinner. I do have a room of my own so I go there while the news are on. If it’s at mealtime, I still choose not to eat in the same room as the tv, although I can hear commentaries. I don’t see the images, but even that helps. This is a bit of an inconvenience, however, it works.

A More Peaceful Life

Ever since I walked away from watching the news every day, I have a more peaceful life. If I feel there are things I need to know about, I ask about it, and that is enough.

I now realize that I am happier. There is no need for me to know all the horror stories that the media loves to report on. The media loves to shock people, to cause disturbance, it’s great for ratings. I already know how this world is hurting, I truly don’t have to keep hearing it over and over again.

You can Have a More Peaceful Life

You can find ways to change things in your life that make you feel bad.

I have a friend who is in her 50’s. She has had a drinking problem for most of her life. A while back now, perhaps 2 years ago, she finally realized that she had had enough of feeling sick all the time. She had enough trouble in her life. She made the choice and decided to quit cold turkey.

I studied a bit about addictions in university. I was convinced that it was almost impossible to eradicate alcohol from ones life. I was wrong. This lady stopped drinking and did it on her own, using her free will to do so. She made the decision to change and conquered her battle on her own.

I am not saying that everyone with an addiction can do that. But, there is help available to those who want to try. Small steps people, small steps.

Therefore there maybe things you can change in your world to help you have a more peaceful life. Take a look. Is there a small thing you can rid yourself of? And another? And, yet another? Every time you conquer something, it is a sign to you that you can do more. Small steps will get you there.
